5 Best Books to Read: Books Recommadation Topics

Best Books to read during Monsoon.

Own your morning- Elevate your life. ♥️

In this book the author want you to join his 5 am Club. You cannot just wake-up or doing nothing. You should have a proper strategy.

And in this book author has described it very beautifully by models and framework which you need to follow.

So, I am going to review this book as honestly as I can.

The book is written in a fictional format which I didn't like sometimes and got frustrated. The whole book is good but the real gems are halfway. But you have to dig deep to find these. So, you can skip the starting part if you want.

I usually keep my books clean and I never really mark anything but in this book, there are lines and paragraphs written so beautifully that I couldn't stop myself from underlining it so that I can read it again.

I will not reveal the whole book because there is much more for you to read.

Here I am sharing the biggest takeaway from this book :

20/20/20 formula :

The time between 5:00 am- 6:00 am is divided into three pockets.

Pocket #1 (5:00-5:20)

MOVE :

'You must begin your day with an intense workout. This is non-negotiable. Otherwise, the 20/20/20 formula won't work.

✨It regulates the flow of hormones which increases your focus and productivity. And makes you live longer.

Pocket #2 (5:20-5:40)

REFLECT

Do meditation, pray, write a journal, and plan your day.

✨It increases your awareness and boosts your gratitude. And makes you happy.

Pocket #3 (5:40-6:00)

GROW

Review your goals. Read books or listen to audiobooks/podcasts.

✨It increases 2×3× your mindset, deepens your knowledge which makes a great impact on your income and personal growth.

I would recommend this book to those who are willing to do something great. This book is going to add some real values in your life. This is one of the best self-help books.

You must check it out.

This book is a collaboration between Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) and Robert Greene. All chapters include some story of Curtis and then a deep explanation is given by Robert.

Curtis Jackson was a Hustler’s ( drug dealer) in his teenage. Her parents had been shot dead in front of him due to some business rivalry. Being alone and seeing no other option for survival he joined drug dealing. Life of drug dealers was full of uncertainty he had big mafia who wanted to destroy him, police who want to put him in jail and his own associate who want to put him out of business.

Yet his fearless attitude cares none of the above things and throwing all this aside he became mafia king of his hood.

Then something urges him from inside to change this field. Since he didn't want to have the same fate as their parents had. So putting his mafia business aside he tries to become a rapper but we all know how the music industry treats newcomers and especially if you are poor and without any connection.

Again he didn't care about this and after getting many rejections and a nine bullet also from an assassin he created his own music, his own studio, and published his rap which became a hit.

His entire story is filled with deception, loneliness, and failure.

Some principles are

1) Accepted death as a reality.

2) Know when to be bad.

3) Respect the process.

4) See things as they are.

Recommendation

I would recommend this book to any person who is from the middle class or the poor. Remember to become successful. We need to have a fearless attitude more than money or connection.

Being happy is everyone’s desire and aim behind all their actions. In today’s busy life and run for a comfortable lifestyle, everyone does everything to be happy but somewhere that universal dream goes down the drain and people become victims of various psychological problems.

In light of this, Rajat Khatri writes the book, “10 Keys to Attain Happiness”. On the surface, the title may suggest a simple overview of the ways to be happy but there is a lot more to it and the readers understand this only when they sit through the book and read it.

Khatri defines happiness in the following words,

“Our happiness depends upon just one thing, our prospective towards the problems.”

The author begins his book by sharing about the circumstances that led to his writing the book. He shares his personal experiences which impacted his life and personality and most importantly, led to his unhappiness and thereafter, his pursuit to be happy. He describes those episodes of his life as “The 4 Dark Phases”. He defines the purpose of writing the book,

“Through this book, I want people to understand that being cheerful is a choice...”

Clearly, he suggests that happiness is a choice for every person and it is all about the attitude towards the situation that is the difference-maker. In a very pragmatic manner with a scientific approach, the author talks about the different definitions of happiness as given by the people.

This is interesting to read as although the reader may have observed this at some point in time or not, but the author’s observation is much more minute and psychologically relevant. Khatri does not choose to jump into describing or lecturing on the keys to happiness, rather he takes up things with a proper basic explanation and builds upon that.

The author uses different psychological approaches to keep the readers involved by using the technique of keeping exercises at different intervals. The readers are bound to enjoy and also learn many things about themselves and also about being happy in this manner.

THE OBSTACLE IS THE WAY" book📚 by Ryan Holiday.

The Obstacle is the Way has become a cult classic, beloved by men and women around the world who apply its wisdom to become more successful at whatever they do.

The book draws its inspiration from stoicism, the ancient Greek philosophy of enduring pain or adversity with perseverance and resilience. Stoics focus on the things they can control, let go of everything else, and turn every new obstacle into an opportunity to get better, stronger, tougher. As Marcus Aurelius put it nearly 2000 years ago: “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”

Ryan Holiday shows us how some of the most successful people in history—from John D. Rockefeller to Amelia Earhart to Ulysses S. Grant to Steve Jobs—have applied stoicism to overcome difficult or even impossible situations. Their embrace of these principles ultimately mattered more than their natural intelligence, talents, or luck.

If you’re feeling frustrated, demoralized, or stuck in a rut, this book can help you turn your problems into your biggest advantages. And along the way, it will inspire you with dozens of true stories of the greats from every age and era.

We tell ourselves stories in order to live.

This is a story of a North Korean girl Yeonmi Park who ran from the country who has no internet, movies, or books to read. There is no love except for the love of Kim Jo. Where kids are taught only about the greatest of his country and Kim accepts the fact that half of their population in poverty and malnutrition.

However running from South Korea was not easy there was danger of life, betray loss of lives, and even rape on their path. The story is very exciting

The story covers the cruelty of North Korea and its government towards their people and how they are banned from the outside world.

Conclusion

The above books are all thought-provoking and will change the way you see life and people especially the last one it took my heart how can life and people be so bad??. Book will surely instill the gratitude in you and you will never complain in your life.

Happy Reading
